A Simplified Christmas

This year our Christmas, like Thanksgiving, will be a little simpler. Phil and Cliff are coming. There will be 4 of us, not a larger family gathering like in the years before Tucson. We won't be stressing about snow storms like last year, thank goodness. We have the potential to worry about Phil having some weather issues getting here, though. Decorating for Christmas was a snap. I just brought a few decorations we had on hand in Bellevue and could pack easily. It didn't take long to put them out on display. We will miss seeing the rest of our family and friends at Christmas, but we know we will see them again in early February, so can wait. I did buy a book of Christmas sheet music to help get us in the holiday mood. We are paring down our Christmas card list a little, are sending gift cards and checks for presents, and I'm making a few presents from my fabric stash. That should just about cover Christmas.
